Since its founding in 1965, Sanjoh Kenki Inc. has served numerous construction projects as a specialist concrete pumping contractor. At the heart of our work is a clear commitment: to take responsibility for every project we undertake and see it through to completion.
As construction progresses, site conditions may become more demanding, and challenges that were not apparent at the outset may emerge. It is in these situations that a specialist contractor’s capabilities are put to the test. We assess the conditions and constraints, consult with everyone involved, and develop solutions that safeguard safety and quality. Where necessary, we review our equipment, pipeline arrangements, and work teams, making every effort to bring the work to completion. This is the approach we remain committed to.
Underpinning this commitment are the skills and experience we have developed over decades on site. We assess the properties of the concrete, make full use of our concrete pumps’ capabilities, and coordinate closely with the teams responsible for placing and compacting the concrete. Our experience in meeting increasingly demanding technical and quality requirements as construction technology advances forms the foundation of Sanjoh Kenki Inc. today.
To carry these capabilities forward, we invest in developing our people. We support younger employees and employees from overseas in learning Japanese and obtaining qualifications, helping them acquire specialist skills and take on positions of responsibility. We also seek ways for experienced workers to contribute to construction planning and mentor the next generation, even when the physical demands of site work become difficult to sustain. We value both individual growth and working arrangements that enable people to continue contributing over the long term.
We also see potential in new technologies, including AI and robotics. We aim to use the judgment and practical ingenuity developed in our daily work to support training and reduce administrative workloads and physically demanding tasks. These technologies may also help ease staffing and operational constraints, expanding the range of work we can undertake. We will explore practical applications on site while carefully evaluating their benefits and challenges.
